The Grand Staircase is a must when taking photos at SF City Hall! The architecture combined with the natural light and open space will convey a classic and sophisticated mood in all the photos you take there.
3rd floor
This secluded area of SF City Hall Is the perfect spot for a break from the busy atmosphere of SF City Hall. The marble floors , low ceiling, and decorative windows make it a perfect spot for intimate & romantic photos.
4th floor
With more archways & marble floors, & easily the best natural lighting in all of SF City Hall, the 4th Floor is the most versatile photo spot. It’s my favorite location to capture movement as well as family photos.
MAYOR’S BALCONY
The Balcony has fascinating natural light, and the view of the Grand Staircase & Rotunda, so it’s easily one of the top spots to capture the beautiful architecture of SF City Hall.
